·Product Overview
The wind power dedicated dry-type transformer can step up the electrical energy generated by the wind turbine from 690V or 1140V to 35kV, which is then transmitted via cables or overhead lines to the wind farm's step-up substation. Installed in the wind turbine nacelle at heights ranging from tens of meters to over a hundred meters above ground, the transformer features an optimized compact design to reduce its overall size. It is engineered to withstand multiple external environmental factors such as humidity and high temperatures, and can frequently endure load cycles from low to high, transient overvoltages, and long-term operation in low-frequency vibration environments. Additionally, it meets the demands of extreme conditions, including significant temperature variations, and fulfills the adaptability requirements for fluctuating wind power loads.

"Compact": Small size and light weight, suitable for the confined space inside the tower, with a structure designed for easy hoisting and installation.

"Durable": Excellent weather resistance and anti-corrosion properties, resistant to salt spray, humidity, heat, and strong environmental endurance, suitable for coastal salt spray corrosive environments (C4).

"Robust": Coils are vacuum-cast with epoxy resin (Note 1), reinforced with glass fiber. The core is tightly bound with high-strength materials and secured with steel bands. The structure utilizes high-strength fasteners and vibration-damping measures to ensure no loosening, deformation, or cracking under long-term vibration. Also suitable for harsh environments such as high altitudes and seismic resistance up to magnitude 8.
